WOW

Went to the WOW show and it was WOW!

In January we visited the WOW Museum in Nelson which inspired us to book tickets in March when they became available for the World of WearableArt Award shows held in Wellington during late September/early October, and our time has finally come!

Oh my goodness, it is a feast for the eyes – such a clever and interesting combination of fashion, art, design, dance, music, culture, storytelling, fun and entertainment, frankly it is a must see!

Some of the highlights were the Children’s themed section (aww soooo cute!) and the neon section, where the lights are switched off and you have these amazing shapes and colours coming at  you in the dark (how they don’t bump into each other I don’t know!) and the Copacabana dance routine in the Bizzarre Bra section was such fun, the tune has been playing in my head for the past 24 hrs!

Loved it, loved it, loved it.  I can’t wait to go again next year and see what wonders of creativity they have in store for us.
