A definite on the Nelson “to do” list should be a visit to WOW – World of WearableArt collection and collectible car museum.
WOW is a two hour show held annually in September, and from what I have heard is spectacular, “taking art off the walls and onto the body”. In a fabulous exhibition you have the opportunity to get up close to amazing, what I would call, artfits (artful outfits!), including winning pieces.
Next door is a great classic car gallery which I found quite amazing. Beautifully restored cars spanning decades make for a handsome car collection.
We happily spent over 2 hrs at the museum and we all really enjoyed the visit.
