Lonely Planet has named Wellington 4th in the Best Cities to visit in the Lonely Planet Best in Travel 2011! They say “In the case of Wellington, Best in Travel 2011 suggests that New Zealand’s most innovative and inspiring city might just be the ‘Best Little Capital in the World’.”

I love Wellington and agree it is worth a visit and a great place to live – we visited it for two days and on the strength of that decided to live here, but I am a little surprised by this! Paris? London? Edinburgh? …nah, Wellington, mate!
All good for NZ Inc. and helps keep us “Wild about Wellington” because it is, after all, “Absolutely, Positively Wellington!”.
